Santa Paolina

4 ha of Greco di Tufo

Crowning so much multiplicity, are the ridges of breccia Irpina, composite rock (puddinga) formed by the crumbling of ancient calcarenite cimali, precipitated into the sea and cemented to then be shot up by the pressure of the African tectonic plate that in these places makes war always to the European one

The woods surrounding the seven hectares of vineyards have always been a destination for researchers of wild asparagus, porcini mushrooms and black truffles which in these places are very delicious. With the new millennium, PETILIA wanted to extend the knowledge of Greek in that of S. Paolina with a further 7 ha at an altitude close to 600 meters. Historical side of the ancienne regime, it produces particularly loose grapes with very low yields and wines with a strong hint of wild rose.
